Design & Style Your Teepee

Creating your child’s dream teepee should feel exciting, personal, and fun.

This page guides you through each design element — helping you understand every customisable feature so you can build a teepee that feels truly special.

You can recreate the designs shown in our photos, or tailor the small touches — like colours, trims, cushions and window style — to suit your home and your child’s personality.

Every teepee is handmade to order and we’ll confirm everything with you before we begin.

Personalisation

Add your child’s name, initial, or monogram for a perfectly personalised finish.

If you have a preferred embroidery colour, just let us know — or we can match it beautifully to your chosen teepee fabrics.

Personalisation is optional — your teepee will look stunning either way.

Teepee Size & Main Colour (and lace door option)

Choose your teepee in Standard or Large size.

Select your main teepee fabric in White, Ivory, Cream or Beige — these soft tones form the two side panels and back panel and give a calm base for your design.

You can also choose the + lace door option — adding an inner lace door for a whimsical, fairy-tale feel.

Pole Casements

These are the fabric sleeves that cover the wooden poles.

They are normally made to complement your teepee design, but if you have a colour in mind, feel free to leave us a note — we’re always happy to tailor it.

Door Flags

Add playful mini flags above the doors for an adorable finishing touch.

Choose between triangle or scalloped flags — or select “none” if you prefer a clean, simple look.

You can also advise what colours you’d like.

Teepee Toppers

Teepee toppers are a lovely way to decorate the top of your teepee or the wooden poles.

Fabrics are selected to match your teepee. We have a range of teepee toppers to choose from flags to feathers and all sorts in between.

Motifs Above the Doors

Some designs include fun motifs above the doors — like stars, hearts, or friendly animals.

If you’d like to add one (or remove one you see), just mention it — we can happily adjust it to suit your style.

Window & Style Options

There is a wide variety of choices for the windows to ensure that your teepee is perfect for the child(ren) in your life.

Windows or portholes, curtains or blinds, left or right or both, it’s up to you.

Toy Pockets

Choose one or two toy pockets and select whether you’d like them inside or outside the teepee.

Perfect for books, soft toys, or treasured little bits and bobs.

Tiebacks

Tie-backs hold your teepee doors open and also add character.

• Ribbon bows — sweet and playful (tell us your colour if you have one)

• Fabric ties — neat and classic, matched to your teepee

• Soft bands — contemporary and clean, fasten with Velcro

Pick the style you love to suit your teepee’s look.

Trimmings (Pom-poms or Lace)

Choose delicate lace or fun pom-poms to edge your doorway.

If you see a design with pom-poms but prefer lace (or vice-versa), simply pick the style you prefer.

Want a specific colour? Add a note — we’re happy to customise the details.

You can request any colour, plain or patterned fabric, and choose your pom-pom and embroidery colours.

Floor Mats & Extra-Large Cushion

Choose from:

Standard square floor mat or Bordered floor matExtra-large floor cushion (100cm x 100cm, generously filled)

You can request fabrics and colours, or select from the gallery.

If you’d like lace or pom-poms on the mat edge, just ask — we will quote and add this for you.
