Customisation Options

This page explains the customisation options available, from names and motifs to trims, tie-backs, cushions and finishing touches.

If you’ve seen a teepee on our website that you love, most small changes can often be accommodated. Simply add your preferences in the order notes at checkout. If no changes are requested, your teepee and accessories will be made as shown in the product photographs.

Personalised Teepee

Add your child’s name, initial, or monogram for a perfectly personalised finish.

If you have a preferred embroidery colour, just let us know — or we can match it beautifully to your chosen teepee fabrics.

Personalisation is optional and can be added to most designs.

Main Teepee Colour

Our teepees are available in White, Ivory, Cream or Beige. The main teepee colour forms the two side panels and back panel of the teepee, while the doors and decorative fabrics are styled to suit each design.

The colour shown in the product photographs is the standard colour for that design. Alternative teepee colours can be viewed on the Main Teepee Colour Card within the product images.

If you would prefer your teepee in a different colour, simply add your preference in the order notes at checkout.

Lace Door Option

An internal lace door adds an extra layer behind the main teepee doors, creating a soft, storybook-inspired look.

Our lace doors are finished with coordinating lace trim to complement your teepee design. White teepees are paired with white lace, while ivory, cream and beige teepees are paired with warm cream lace.

Some teepee designs already include a lace door, while others offer it as an optional extra.

If you would like to add a lace door to a teepee that does not already include one, simply add the Lace Door Option from Teepee Styling to your basket alongside your chosen teepee, and we will incorporate it into the design for you.

Door Flags

Three decorative door flags sit above the teepee doors, creating a playful finishing touch. Triangles, Scallopped semi circles, or no flags.

If you would prefer a different door flag style to the one shown, or no flags at all, simply let us know in the order notes at checkout.

Pole Casements

These are the fabric sleeves that cover the wooden poles.

They are normally made to complement the teepee design and coordinate with the chosen fabrics.

If you have a specific colour in mind, please contact us before ordering and we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to fabric availability.

Teepee Toppers

Teepee toppers are a lovely way to decorate the top of your teepee and wooden poles.

Choose the style you’d like to complement your teepee design. Options include matching pole flags, feather flags, personalised flags and floral crowns.

Fabrics and colours will be coordinated to suit your chosen teepee. If you have something specific in mind, please let us know in the order notes at checkout.

Motifs Above the Doors

Some designs include fun motifs above the doors, such as stars, hearts, rabbits and other coordinating designs.

If you’d like to add one, remove one, or change the style shown, simply let us know in the order notes at checkout and we’ll be happy to adjust it for you.

Window & Style Options

Windows are a lovely way to personalise your teepee.

Choose from a frame-only window, porthole window, window with blind, window with curtains, or a heart-shaped window. Windows can be positioned on the left side, right side, or both sides of your teepee.

Simply select your preferred window style and position when purchasing your teepee.

Toy Pockets

Toy pockets can be added to any of our teepees and are perfect for keeping favourite toys, books and teddies close at hand.

Choose from one or two pockets and decide whether you’d like them positioned inside or outside your teepee.

You’ll find Toy Pockets in our Teepee Styling collection. Simply add your chosen pocket to your basket alongside your teepee and we’ll incorporate it into your design.

Tiebacks

Tie-backs hold the teepee doors open and add a lovely finishing touch to your design.

Select your preferred tie-back style when ordering your teepee:

• Neutral Cotton Ties – a neat and classic option made from soft cotton ties, coordinated to complement your teepee fabrics and colours.

• Ribbon Bows – sweet and playful ribbon bows. These will normally be made in the colour shown on your chosen teepee design, however if you would prefer an alternative colour, please let us know in your order notes.

• Fabric Bands with Velcro – a contemporary and practical option. These fabric bands are coordinated to your teepee design and fasten neatly with Velcro.

Choose the style that best suits your teepee and your child’s room.

Pom-poms Trim

Pom-pom trims add a fun and colourful finishing touch to teepee doors.

If you see a teepee design and would prefer a different pom-pom colour, or no pom-poms at all, simply let us know in your order notes at checkout.

Pom-pom trims can also be added to many of our teepee designs. You’ll find these in our Teepee Styling collection. Simply add your chosen pom-pom trim alongside your teepee and we’ll incorporate it into the design for you.

Lace Trim

Delicate lace trims create a beautiful storybook finish and can be added to selected teepee designs.

Lace is normally matched to your chosen teepee colour. Ivory, cream and beige teepees are paired with coordinating cream lace, while white teepees are finished with white lace for a seamless look.

Coordinating Accessories

Many of our teepees are shown with coordinating cushions, floor mats and accessories.

You can purchase the accessories shown in the product photographs or browse our Accessories collections to create your own look.
